I can't help but laugh at this "bunker" on wheels and thread.
I bet it must have been some ordeal driving it thru the mud on the Eastern front. How do you even service this brickhouse? Don't take this seriously ( I did not ). Isaac

yeah it does look silly, but the concrete armor was not that dumb of an idea, both allies and axis used add-on concrete armor to protect themself from HE shells and such

Used relatively recently. Last marks of Chieftain used layers of cement and rubber held in place by steel bars on the frontal arc of the turret (Stillbrew). Apparently good to withstand two hits from 125mm (APFSDS equivalent).
