Hand Drawn Paper Models from France
Maquettes en papier - Paper models - ペーパーモデル
I found a blog with many hand-drawn paper models from a place called "France". I googled France and am pretty sure France is not a part of Japan (in spite of the Japanese word for papercraft appearing in the URL) but I decided to post the link anyway. There are lots of interesting minimalist paper models of a variety of subjects to look at and download. There are tips to making your own paper models. I hope all of you have an enjoyable virtual visit to "France". (If you want to see some new paper models from Japan, please visit the Papermau.blogspot. Mauther has recently posted several new-to-me models from Canon.) (Here is another paper model blog located in "France" (which is not part of Japan): Bienvenue parmi les maquettes en papier It has been updated with many new paper models, mostly of ancient buildings in "France". Buildings in France were made mostly out stone, which is very different from traditional Japanese buildings which were constructed with wood and paper, much like paper models are. The models are accompanied by a brief history of the original. This site has an exhaustive list of paper models URLs or links (the French call them "liens") which are worth exploring. Secanda - Liens Many of the sites are in Japan, which is also not a part of France. The links provide an introduction to paper modelers and paper model communities all around the world.)) France Paper Toys. 3D Papercraft Models and Templates of France
Two paper models of monuments in "Paris", a place where many people from "France" live. Interestingly enough, there is a place called French Hill Park in Japan, where French people once had a residence in Japan. A View from the French Hill Park - Yokohama, Kanagawa - Japan Travel |
