Is there a Japanese translator on the forum? I want to know what Etsutan says on the first page of the pdf (can't select the text in foxit reader).

Great looking model and I just downloaded it. It is added to all my other free models that will take a lifetime to build. I will start doing some research on this ship. Anyone have any info on her?

I think it's a model of the protected cruiser Itsukushima (look at the name of the image) - launched 1889 (in France) - served until 1926.
Reference for Japanese cruiser Itsukushima - Search.com IJN Itsukushima 1890 (Protected Cruiser)) Regards, Charlie |

Great subject. I really like pre-dreadnoughts. Was this ship's sister the one that had the main gun that fired to the stern?

Almost all are ‘mountain fold’ except a few ‘valley fold’ . 57 and 84 can be skipped depending on print quality. Please understand that there is also a missing number in a part number. Railings and wirings are not included" |

Thanks, YuG. I was hoping to be able to figure out the instructions for Part 42 as it fits into Part 43 (bottom of P1) but I'm only guessing. It looks like you can put 42 inside 43 unglued so you can move the guns. Is that right?
