GPM #125 (3/2012) Ilyushin Il-28
GPM has done an update of their Beagle. If the cover is correct there are marking options for six different versions (2 Polish, 1 Soviet, 1 DDR, 1 Czech and another which I think is Romanian.)

Thank you for the alert, YB. No North Korean markings, apparently.

This is a lovely reprint of their previous issue but with the option for six different markings. The "standard" model is for a Polish bird (red 48) and is printed with a beautiful metallic finish. The alternate schemes are accomplished by providing alternate unmarked parts as appropriate and separate national insignia and numerals to accomplish the other five schemes. Sort of like applying decals to an unmearked model. The downside is that the "decals" are printed on the same thickness cardstock as the model parts so would stand proud of the surface. A better approach might have been to print the "decals" on thin paper stock. The other five schemes are: Polish red 68, Soviet red 12. East German, Czechoslovakian and Hungarian. A very welcome model that could have been a bit better...

Hmmmmmm. Presumably, one could print out DPRKAF insignia on suitably thin paper and stick them on (as you and I used to do with stick and tissue models back in the day).

Yes indeedy! That's the plus side on this model - you can build it as a completely unmarked bare metal bird and add any insignia/markings you want.
