F6F-3 Hellcat MPModel 1:33

As for all this models, the instructions are only a small paragraph in polish language. The assembly has to be done by the computer generated drawings.
This kit is also in format 22,5 x 32 cm, the price was 30 zloty (7,50 euro).

The engine is very detailed, its parts take nearly one page.

Boeing B-17G Maly Modelarz 1:33

The last kit for today is a huge one: The Boeing B-17G Flying Fortress in scale 1:33. The model will be 69 cm long and will have a wing-span of 95 cm.

It comes on 38 pages of parts and patterns (about 1200 parts). The pages are in A4-format.

Boeing B-17G Maly Modelarz 1:33

Some examples of the pages with parts.
Printing is excellent, the kit shows the complete interior of the airplane, all weapons, the seats for every crew-member, ...
The four engines are to be built with detailed cylinders.

Boeing B-17G Maly Modelarz 1:33

This kit has the size of a small book, the price of 45 zloty (11 euro) is fully justified.

Hi Doug, hi Sharunas,
thank you for your comments.

@Doug: Cardboardbuilding is very popular in Poland, so you can find some kits in most book stores. There were more kits of tanks and cars to sell, only ships I didn't see this time.

@Sharunas: I specially want to thank you for your excellent Mauretania. That will be one of my next builds.

I'm no special 'airplane-builder', mostly I do ships, but this ones I couldn't resist to buy.
The presented airplane-kits will be built in far away future, when I will be expierenced enough for them.

Best Regards
Dieter

People have been asking me about doing a 1/33 scale version of my B-17s but this one looks really good. They might want to go with this one. It looks like a huge improvement over their older B-17 kit. The interior also looks much more accurate than the GPM/Fly kits. Do the engine cowls have that funky petal assembly though?

Oh my, thats a big one!
Did you figure out the fuselage construction? It seems the way to make the fuselage is to build cylindrical sections, each closed on both ends with proper frame/former...

Thanks Dieter,
please don't hesitate to ask or report if something is not clear enough or you'll find a mistake. I'll try to help.

By the way, which one of those planes You are most eager to build?
