Awesome,
Guess that's why I learned to like Cherrios- never liked them as a kid, more of a Corn Flakes and Rice Krispies kinda guy. But Fronteer Town was a blast. Thanks for the memories!

Of course! When you get your first Journal, check out the standards for submissions, plus you can post to the IPMS/USA website galleries... Let us know when you get something out there!

I had forgotten about this forum! Attended the Region 12 Contest in Columbia, SC where my Renova Hunley showed against some serious plastic competition with a second place.
A well-known name in IPMS is Bill Blackmore, proprietor/designer/producer of Cottage Industries Models. CIM is rather famous for its accurate renditions of the Hunley as Bill was deeply involved with the restoration group. He spotted my Hunley next to his CSS Alabama and thought that it was his cutaway resin model of the same scale that someone had modified to represent the full hull version. He was quite surprised when I explained that it's paper!
