The main reason I wanted Fine in there was to impress upon the plastic guys that we are not just making foldup model airplanes. I will just wait and see what the magazine guys have to say. I already have a couple contacts over there from another thing I was working on
The SIG title doesnt prevent us from doing anything else, I just wanted to move on from it and get into the meat and potatoes. Chris

you might run into some flak using the r-r-r logo
isn't it a special international symbol now?

What does it mean - now there's a question.
Project your own meaning ... Simply a symbol denoting paper, though derived from the recycling iconography. Paper recycles (as opposed to some other material? - confrontational stance). "Green" symbol (semi-smug). The fate of any model that you're unhappy with (crunch!), since you can just print off another set of parts and try again. ???insert Freudian clips here??? Better yet, since I'm in the lower quartile for artistic talent around here, I'll turn it over to you real artists and graphics designers for some free association. Are these various recycling symbols copyrighted or trademarked? (off on another Google search I guess) And it only took a level-three Google search. Consensus information indicates the symbol was created by Gary Anderson in 1970 for an Earth Day contest run by the Container Corporation of America (CCA) specifically to indicate recycled paper. The symbol went into wide use before the CCA thought to register it as a trademark, so their application was challenged. The CCA decided to go with the positive spin and left the symbol in the public domain. The only restriction on use is: if used as a marking, it better be on something recycled or recyclable (I think card passes this test just fine). Over to the lawyers for the real story ... Yogi (maybe this belongs in the comedy stand - though you notice I don't tell many jokes [probably a reason for that]) Last edited by Retired_for_now; 05-11-2010 at 02:57 PM. <chuckles> I am especially fond of this point:
The fate of any model that you're unhappy with (crunch!),

So far we have yogi's recycling logo idea.... to build on that we could have a sillouetted of a plane, ship, and armor in between each arrow?
