It's a great model of the Nieuport. Unbelievable that it's 47 years old.

I wanted to thank you for your How to build a model in Blender series. I'm a very slow learner, and I'm hoping to follow through your posts over the Christmas season.

Gary

Unfortunately, the model is not in good condition. Because my son ten years ago slightly played with it.
I didn't find time and possibility to repair the model. It is necessary to restore this model indeed. Firstly to disassemble it as much as possible and after to assemble it.
MacSongLi thank you very much for your answer. I was already beginning to wonder if anyone needed my stories about Blender. I will continue to write about Blender modeling especially for you. Maybe somebody else will join us.

Thank you, MacSongLi.
Okay, so let's do it.
Next time, in a couple of days, I will continue to talk about the ending of the nose part of the plane's fuselage.

Blender Tutorial for Airspeed AS 6 Envoy

Dane,
Please continue your tutorial on using Blender to create a cardboard model of the Airspeed AS 6 Envoy.

Can you supply a link to the 3-view you are using?

Thanks.
-Steve

ssmeier, thank you. I will continue to tell you about 3D modeling of AS6-Envoy, of course.
Pardon me please, I don't understand what you mean under "3-view".

My definition of a "3-view" is an image that contains the front, top and side view of a subject that is being modelled.

The image can also be called a "multiview orthogonal projection", an "isometric drawing", a "blueprint", a "general arrangement drawing", or a "schematic".

Your tutorial is using "2020-05-17-envoy-projections-02.jpg" as your "3-view" drawing.
I have saved that file from your web site. Its resolution is 689x1000.

I have searched...
"airwar.ru", "drawingdatabase.com", "blueprintbox.com", "rcgroups.com",
"http://richard.ferriere.free.fr/3vues/", "the-blueprints.com", "ww2aircraft.net"
...looking for a higher resolution file, but have not found the same image you are using in your tutorial.

I would like to download that image file from where you originally downloaded it.
I would like to have a higher resolution of that drawing, if it exists.

If you do not recall where you originally obtained the image, I will use the image I have already saved from your tutorial web page.

Wow! It is very easier than I thought. I have got a bigger resolution picture, of course. But all of these are bad quality. Just on site I do not use pictures big resolution to prevent long uploading pictures on the site.
I started with picture which I found in Internet. After that a worked with it in PhotoShop. This pictures here you are.
Thank you for explanation about "3-view" term.

I am preparing a New Year's gift for everybody.

Hello PMs!

I am preparing a New Year's gift for everybody. This will be a story about a very interesting modeler who created his own style of a sailing ship models.

Models are not made of paper. The models are made of traditional materials such as wood, iron, rope and canvas. But the models are very beautiful, and I wanted to share this beauty with you, dear paper modelers.

Follow the announcements in 2-3 days....
