Screenshot of my SR-71 Blackbird project!
I don't need to make templates for the paneling right now, but I just need certain parts, like the engine assembly, wings/tails, canopy, and wing inserts for realistic form. This model is supposed to be very simple, although I do know how to make small parts, etc, it's supposed to be just a simple accurate shape of the plane for a nice hanging.

Looks like a great start on designing.
Are you going to use 2D or 3D for the part design? I use 2D for my designs. The SR71 HABU I have in the download section is modified from scale. https://www.papermodelers.com/forum/...yid=21&page=18 bottom of the page for the instructions and PDF for the model. The fuselage diameter and a few other things were changed to keep the weight down for flying: Mike |
