IJN Tsugaru (minelayer)
Hello
I started build a new IJN model six month ago. The name of that ship is Tsugaru. Because I have finished my work it is time to introduce my new model. This model was glued by me as a prototype, in 1:200 scale. The designer of that project is Maciej Herbut, very popular designer especially IJN. The model will be published probably in next year by Answer. Few words about that minelayer. Tsugaru was a large minelayer of the Imperial Japanese Navy that was in service during the early stages of World War II. The name of that ship comes from Tsugaru Peninsula in northwest Aomori Prefecture of Japan. Superb work on this IJN ship!
In the first image, Tsugaru looks like a miniature Yamato. Don |

Very nice indeed! What is the second larger one in the rear, a variation on a float plane carrier/cruiser?
