Hi Mark,
This model looks rather like "Moskvich 407" than "Volga". |

Nice car.
That's a beautiful Moskvich. I have a friend in Texas who, in the 1980's, restored a white 1958 Moskvich 407. That's him with his car in the photo, circa 1989.
For my Volga model, I should have made the hood 3/8ths of an inch longer. I don't have CAD, I use simple drafting tools. Thanks for commenting. I'm glad to see that someone else is interested in Russian cars. |

Max, I was wondering how the Citroen was coming along. My cars are greatly more simplified, but I'd like to make an effort at modeling that car. Can't say when, though. Full plate for now.

Three posts previous to this one, I posted a link to a Russian car forum. Since this relates directly to the subject of this thread, I will post a link to another Russsian automotive forum (both of these forums are non-commercial): Categories in Wheels of the Red Star (Russian Automotive Memorabilia Forum)
I will not post this link any more than I already have, and I apologize if I offended anyone by posting it on other people's threads. |
