Hello V_K. For colouring, I'm currently using pens designed for children, which is pretty apt as far as yours truly is concerned. I guess they're water-based as stains can be washed out of clothes. In the UK a ubiquitous brand is Crayola Super Tips.

Oh, and the fold lines. I can't take credit for disguising the fold lines as I didn't need to; on the copy I printed out they were so inconspicuous that it was hard to find them. No matter though, as the design was such that it was easy to see how parts were supposed to be shaped. Joining them together was another matter. I'd like to do another like this, but not just yet. These days it's simplicity which attracts me.
