SHADO 2 Mobile (UFO TV Series)

Here is my completed SHADO mobile from the 1970s TV series from Gerry Anderson. The print is available from Airdave's Kool Wheelz collection. The scale is approximately 1/70. I added extra layered panels, an antenna, and highlighted the radiator surround in red.

EXCELLENT!!!

A guy on youtube brought up a good point.
There are no doors or hatches for the crew to enter/exit the SHADO Mobiles.

Its obvious (in the show) in interior scenes, the cabin is not open to the rear of the vehicle, so they can't use the rear doors.

There isn't a need for doors during the show as you never see people enter the miniature models.
But I think, if needed, either the side framed windows opened.
They sure look big enough to create a hatchway entry.
Or, the entire cabin exterior tilted forward from below the windscreen.
Much like how a Cab-Over truck cab tilts forward to expose the engine.
Thats my idea.

Fun fact:
In the newly released "Technical Manual" for SHADO stuff, the past is ignored or modified to suit,
but I guess someone brought up the fact of no door or obvious hatchways.
And in new technical drawings a small awkward hatchway has been added between the two cabin seats.
Its low and angled to the floor.
It would need to be a narrow tunnel at floor level to the rear compartment.
It look impossible to use, especially if you were in a spacesuit as (in one episode).
But I guess this is retro-fixing the problem. LOL
