Tokyo Tower - Canon

Finished this one really quickly, if I remember correctly I built this model early March. To be honest, I was very inclined to do the uhu's version of Tokyo Tower, but the amount of cut-outs and the size of the kit made me back off from it. So I'm glad that Canon produced their version of the subject, I reaaly enjoyed the result and how easy it were to put everything together.

Nice model. Looks good. A lot simpler compared to the individual trusses design.


My dentist was in the building just to the right of the road next to the tower. That's when I lived in Tokyo a few years ago.

Good work, like it. Agree with you about Uhu's version even if it does look fantastic when done, may have to give this one a try.
