1912 Avro Type F (1/100, Fiddlersgreen)
Here are some photos of my recently-completed Avro Type F.
I rigged it as well as I could, using my thinnest plastic rod and added some extra detailing to the engine. The undercarriage took a while to assemble. Last photo is with the 1927 Spirit of St Louis (same scale). 👍🏻✂️ |

Excellent model. Very good job.
As for aircraft not only it had fully enclosed cabin but it also had wing warping (very much in vogue at the time) and 35hp five cylinder radial, not rotary engine. I'm guessing lack of power plus very restricted controls sealed fate of this aircraft. |
