De Havilland 'Tiger Moth' (1/100, Prudenziati)
My first model of 2024. I printed this in my usual 1/100 scale. I added rigging (plastic rod) and (acetate) windshields.
Before building, I sprayed the sheet with acrylic Matt varnish..... I believe this has helped to preserve the print during cutting/folding - first time I've done this and I'll do it again. The aircraft was used by the 16th Reserve Flying School, RAF Derby, from June 1947. |

Nicely done, and on such a small scale! Definitely a good start of 2024 .
