Ed Strakers Car from U.F.O. (Kool Wheelz, 1/48)

Here is my build of another excellent design from Dave. I always wanted to work for Ed Straker! I never had the Dinky toy, but I'm very glad to have this. Thanks, Dave!

I coloured the edges with a gold paint pen and blackened the inner wheel arches. The wheels were thickened up with card. I sprayed the sheet with matt varnish before cutting and folding - this protects the folded edges from colour erosion. After completion, I sprayed it with a couple of coats of acrylic gloss.

I made the base from paper/card/stick. The scale is approximately 1/48, as determined from the photo I found of the actual car.

Thanks. The artwork is pretty impressive... the front headlights actually look as if they're clear, for example.
