Bond Bug 3-Wheeler (1/45)
Thanks to SteveB for directing me to this free download.
A nice little kit, although it required some cutting/manipulation to get the front completed - I had to make a new front bumper and indicators, as the lower half was too long. Turned out okay, I think. |

Neat little bugger! Well done.
Pretty funny that the prototype used a NACA scoop on the hood. Some fancy aero treatment there, for an overall shape that qualifies as a "bluff body!" I like it. |

The duct is what passes for ventilation on 1970s British cars - a simple forced air system.
Someone has made an EV conversion with Tesla cells mounted under the seats, which improves the CoG and gives a 75mph top speed and better stability. On the original version the front end reportedly would start to lift at higher speeds due to the airfoil profile of the car... This kit has some good photorealistic textures and highlighting.

Nicely done. The graphics are first rate, and your build is impeccable. An early '70s Bond Bug occasionally visits some of our local car shows. it's finished in pink metal flake paint, and it always has a crowd of admirers around it.
