Gary, sorry for suggesting new models all the time, but do you have any plans for this birdie? Never seen a large scale model of this. I saw the team fly at the 2012 RIAT, they were really good.

You do not have to be sorry for suggesting models. On the contrary, I'm sure Gary likes to receive new suggestions. It is an inspiration. It also shows him what are the tendencies in card modelling instead of designing the eternal P-51s, Spitfires, Russian fighters, Me-109s etc. of which we have thousands of samples. If modellers suggest prototypes, it is much easier to decide which aircraft might have appeal. That is why I suggested plenty of civil aircraft because due to wrong market studies, card and plastic companies have not launched too many prototypes of these most popular of aircraft.

Excellent choice!! We need a DC-8. A real nice and accurate DC-8. There are several liveries to chose from but in my opinion, either the Pan American or the United Airlines or the late Branniff schemes are the most classic. Another terribly desired "want" is a Douglas DC-4/Douglas C54 Skymaster. No card model of this one yet. It took more than 60 years for Revell to finally issue one in 1/72 scale. The card model in 1/50 scale would be beautiful and can be put together with Schreiber's airline collection. Please note Gary!!!

agreed there are more card models of the caravelle around than the dc8 and it certainly did not serve as many airlines,to me the b707,caravelle,dc8,and ill fated comet were the pioneers of civil jet aviation and are all under-represented

If it's up for a vote, I'll vote for a DC - 8 as well. Even if I've always liked the b-707 more all my life.
