L-5 Sentinel repaints

Ok I got Ryan Shorts permission to post up more repaints of his L-5 the first one was a quite some time ago, the USAAF SAR version. The next one up is a Marine Observation OY-2 from Korea 1950's era. next will be a British, then a USAF and Air Guard.

I just saw a nice progrm on th Military channel about th L-Birds and theBrodie hook system.

That's the one I've been promoting for the last two years through Lbirds.com - Liaison aircraft, pilots, restorations, and more!...... It's good.

I will certainly check it out then, I have never watched much beyond things like wings on the history channel, even got to see one of My birds on an episode.

The film, (as you now know) was pretty good, but it could have been even better, and broader. There's a LOT more to the Liaison story that has yet to be told. I'm hopefully going to be kicking off a campaign to repaint the L-5 that is owned by the squadron I'm a part of, and I'm hoping that as part of that campaign, we'll get the story out. It's fairly "pretty" now, in the right setting, but is NOT authentic...
