Private Messages

Hi,

I'm having some trouble with Private Messages. I received one a few days ago, but when I went back later to reply I couldn't seem to get to my PM's at all. Another member tried to PM me yesterday and got a message that I hadn't elected to receive PMs. I went to "Options" under the User CP to see if I had accidentally turned them off and there isn't even a Private Message section there. When I click on "Private Messages" from the Forum Jump menu, I get a screen that says I don't have "permission to access this page."

Little help?

I think it has to do with the access to the forum only starts after you've posted a first reply or message..

You are correct, only confirmed members are allowed to use the PM section thanks to a spammer a while ago that figured out he could send out spam using PM's. Eric should be good now as he has posted a post and it has been approved.

I was confused, actually - the PM I got that I wanted to respond to was on the "other" Forum. Having been out of circulation for a while I guess I'm rusty at all this.

Or I'm getting old.
