HOw to: download files

I am Well past 10 Posts
Posts ams MB downloads are Very close
Downloads show as 465.67
Posts show 466 (this should be 467!)

When I manage to get the files, I only tried ONCE.
It was the crashing of the downloads on this Tower
(Brand New purchased Aug!! (though H-P warrantee was outdated in Jun)
It was Clearanced and Half the Mark-down price!!
(Only reason I was able to get it!!!!!)
laptop was free from brother, but altered from win7 to 8
I do not think it likes that as it is SLOWER than tower!!
And It sees More signal than tower!!!

I am NOT tech savvy enough to know what/how to test/alter
AVG/Anti-malware settings to try to be able to download from here.
I can download from everywhere else, just not here!!!
ie; video clips from Youtube/dailymotion/etc (with video downloaders),
paper models from NovaModels, etc.

so................

Wish my former neighbor was still available to answer questions.
Sadly, he died a few months ago.

I noticed that I am experiencing this same issue today. Same message, same inability to download anything. Granted, I have not posted a lot but I posted a link today to several models and still nothing. I use no download manager, just using Google Chrome and downloading. Not sure what the issue is but I can click on the download links and then the message pops up telling me I do not have sufficient permission to access that content.

hey everybody finaly solved my on downloading problems yay! learnt the problem was hughes nets web acellerator. had to go into the hughs net modems control menu and disable it . so anybody with similar problems should see if ther ip provider uses web acelleratores and if they do can they be disabled that might fix your problems too.
