Paper Model Store seems to have a fair range of architecture models - he operates out of Chicago.

Regards,

Charlie

I recommend 110 lb cardstock. You can pick it up at just about any office supply shop (Office Depot, Staples, etc.).

You will get a lot of different recommendations for the type of glue to use.

I use Aleene's Fast Grab Tacky Glue almost all of the time. It is a PVA or white glue. I use a glue stick like Ross or 3M for some laminations. People use various types of UHU glues too. CA glue (aka super glue) is useful for stiffening parts or glueing paper to metal.

I make some architecture model myself... For glue, I prefer a clear type solvent glue like Uhu Kleber, Devcon Weldit, or Duco. I use these becuase they stick faster than many white glue ones. And they do not make the paper so soggy. Every white glue I try, including the different Aleene's Glues, they make the paper into mush nearly instantly, and then it takes hours to dry and harden again. I do use them some but not so much overall. Uhu has a big yellow bottle of a clear glue that is not bad. I use that some. And I like Ross Permanant Glue Stick... it is Permanant and does not come apart like many other stick do. Zap-A-Gap I use for some parts and it is Invaluable. On my Messerschmitt I had fear of cutting slots in the nose for the propellers, but with Zap A Gap I can fix each propeller in place perfectly and they do not droop.

If you want architecture models also and do not mind to buy from overseas, the German brands like Wilhelmshavener, Schreibiner (I know I spell that wrong) etc have MANY designs.
