Login troubles - Page 2

Still having problems keeping logged in. Have 'remember me' checked.

No, and I never had. In fact, I have always had quite a strict privacy regime on my computer, for years now and I never changed anything about that. never had any troubles either. It's the site that started getting weird.

Edit: But apparently checking that box works. I didn't have to log in again to publish my post. Oh well.

"Remember me" just adds a cookie to your Browser's stored cookies (related to this site)
which tells the website you are already logged in, and to automatically log you in (when you visit).

So, if its not working, its usually because you lost that cookie.
Either your browser cleared cookies (maybe during a cache cleanup)
or the cookie was dumped by the site itself.

Once you visit, log-in, and check the box again, it should store a new cookie.

It works, so that's good. I always thought I had this site cleared from restrictions but I will have to check that again.

It’s getting weird when I changed thread on my computer, e.g. from Aviation to Dave’s koolwheez, my login box reappeared empty though I have logged in. When I tried to post this message, the same thing happened. So, I’m using my iPhone to see if it works. If it does, then what’s wrong with using the computer? Others have experienced the same or not?
