Never heard of Brave; don't like Firefox but will give it a try. Might even try Edge since MS is always whining at me to switch.

Don't have a problem with any other sites, some of which I spend more time then papermodelers, so don't see a reason to import bookmarks, etc. to any other browser.

Importing stuff to another browser, just makes switching to another browser more comfortable.
Plus, having multiple browsers, with all the same bookmarks and settings,
makes it easier to use different browsers if you have to.
Some browsers do access some sites better.
Some don't work at all on some sites.

Brave is my primary browser.
As I said, its just Chrome...but without the Google tracking and control.
It also has some ready to use site shields and surfing protection built in.
I find it has the least troubles across the most websites.

But I do recommend instally adblockplus on Brave and Chrome.

I'm logged in using Chrome with this post.

I had to sign in, since I haven't used Chrome in a very long time (here).
I made sure to check the 'Remember me" box when I signed in.

Once I closed the browser, and came back, I was logged out.
So I went into Settings and set everything the way I posted earlier.

Then I logged in again, name and password, plus check the 'Remember me' box.
I logged in fine and even when I left the site, I was still logged in when I returned.

Then I closed the browser completely, and opened it again...
then came directly to this thread...
and I was still logged in!!
Which means it saved the site cookies and recognized me.

So maybe you haven't got everything set correctly as I indicated?
Chrome works properly on my system and remembers me (when accessing this site).

Went to reply and when I tried to send it. Completely logged me out to the Logged Out screen.
Will just live with it, since I don't like messing with all these different browsers, etc.

I am stumped.
Without hands on information, I can't go much further.
Some things are hard to fix this way.

Why on earth would someone attack a paper modelers forum? What profit is there to get? *confused - but then, I am confused about a lot of things nowadays...*

Was just browsing unread posts and everytime I changed the page to go further I had to login again. Pretty awkward. Same problem occurs when using the private messages section and when just posting to a thread. I've started to write my texts first word processors and then just copy-paste them when posting. Saves time and numerous logins. Sigh. Anyways summer is fine, weather is great and the fish are jumpin'. I'm now a happy camper.

I was cursed with the same affliction as Tapcho and others. But since I started checking the "Remember Me" box when logging in, the problem seems to have gone away.

Here's another variation I get occasionally. Then I have to start over and log in 4 or 5 times to get back in.

problem persists, 9 times trying to log in and 12 times to upload a single picture... does it have anything to do with this?: Multiple Forum Accounts.

I started having mild problems logging in since that thread was opened, i have two accounts registered in my laptop since my girlfriend likes bird paper models, she uses my laptop several times
