I am not sure where the issue is coming from that you are encountering, and it could be a combination of things as I do not have any problems that you are describing. That said, I am looking at updating the forum software in a couple of weeks when I have some time off, so hopefully, that will help. Not sure what else to suggest. If you have any thoughts please drop me a PM.

I click "remember me" every time I log in and still having constant problems with it logging me out. So looking forward to the update to see if that helps. The problems only started a few weeks ago.

Well, I hope these issues get fixed soon, whatever the cause. In its current state, the forum is only borderline functional.

We are aware some are having problems. It seems to be a very small minority. Cannot figure out what they have in common. There are several of us who are having no problems at all.
Not to say that could change at any moment.

Something tells me it is related to how they access the forum. Tablets and phones may have more issues than desktops and laptops.

I encountered the same problem on more than one occasion.
I use a PC with an ethernet connection to the www. Chrome is my standard browser and yes, I do not have to log in at all because I have "remember me" checked all the time. On the occasions when it happened to me I was going through my list of unread posts and whenever I clicked a preview image I was prompted to log in again. The last time this happened I switched to Firefox and everything worked as it should. Aha! To prove to myself that it was indeed a browser glitch, I immediately switched back to Chrome, fully expecting wonkiness again. However, Chrome worked flawlessly too - weird - no idea what's going on. Ever since the forum is working fine for me - knock on wood. |
