I think Jason has already explained that the site is undergoing some changes that are resulting in some of these error issues.
I think things related to Cloudfare will require some patience. Might I suggest you make sure that browser cache is completely cleared. This means deleting temp files, history and cached files. You might also consider cleaning cookies too. Just to be sure your not experiencing any internet/website residue. I remember once updating one of my own websites and still seeing an older version. No matter how many times I reloaded things, the new updates would not appear. It took days for things to sort themselves out on my end. A quick browser cleansing fixes all. To clear everything quickly: Ctrl+Shift+Del (Windows) or Command+Shift+Delete (Mac) or, if you're like me, you go into Browser Settings and manually clear things as you like.

I have a very strict and safe browser setting when it comes to clearing cookies and cache stuff. and it also happened to me today, while I was trying to post a reply om a thread... I know what is hapening but, well... It is kind of annoying.

I've too have been getting randomly "rate limited", and I hadn't posted on the site since yesterday. I finally broke down and installed VPN software to get around the issue. Working okay for now.
