paper weights

I have been building models for awhile and use a variety of paper weights. Lately I have come across a number of models calling for 1mm paper. How does that translate into weight such as 110 lb? Or does it?

It does not. They are referring to card stock laminated up to 1mm or thicker. You can also purchase various paper products by thickness. Cereal boxes or other re-purposed paper packaging can be laminated to achieve the desired thickness. (not corrugated products).
