Thanks, guys! The clear plastic for the canopy came from a teabag wrapper. I enjoy scratchbuilding the interiors, even if they do suffer from that hand drawn look.
Next up will be a couple of airacobras, one stock and one with interior, etc. Hopefully I'll get some time this weekend! Chris |

Very nice job! Looks very well finished, with excellent fitting and the hand-drawn cockpit fits with the FG style anyways

Chris, nice work on that 109!
Could you please tell me how you did the wings? Or rather, how to get the dihedral in them? The instructions aren't much help...

I'll see if I can remember. I glued the wings (top and bottom) together first. Then the center section glues together; it folds over like the wings. There are markings on the wings bases where it says "glue area". These get glued either under or over (can't remember!) the center section to create the dihedral. It may help to very gently score the bottom half of the wing where the folds will be. I didn't do this and like a lot of FG models, it took a little guesswork to get the dihedral even.
Hope this helps. Maybe others have better ways to do this? Chris |

Thanks, that did help (a bit), but what about the dehedral of the MiG-3? That one has a dihedral that starts midwing, instead of at the wingroot?

Chris your me-109 looks very nice. The cockpit adds a lot to the model. Thanks for the tips.

You did a great job on this 109 Chris . What's the fuselage length and wingspan please?

The fuselage is roughly 9" and the wingspan is just under 10". That's not exact, but pretty close.
