Do you have to laminate the whole model ? That's it's a lot of work. Thanks for the 3view pic.

Looking forward for more about your helicopter.

Wow, excellent project Aaron! You never seem to find a limit for what can be done with time and skills...

Best regards,

Well, I had a minor setback. To do the glazing, I used clear tape. Infortunately, I got lazt and rather than cut a piece of tape for each individual window on the outside, I just covered the whole front fuselage with tape, and hoped my bad camera would hide it.

Unfortunately, It still looked like crap, and also delaminated, so the windows were no longer see thru.

Sooo, I'm gonna start over and make a few more mods

1: Cut off all the tabs and make joining strips
2: Don't use any type of glazing, and reinforce the nose with florists wire
3: Buy an inkjet that'll print on cardstock.

Really enjoying this build of a fav of mine. Like that you will not settle for nothing less than a excellent build. Look forward to your next posting. Oh yea, it is ok to face seven men as long as you have a 1911A1 w/8 in the can and 1 in the pipe!Rick

I'm working on the model right now.

Personally, I'd prefer to face them with my Beretta 92FS 40 cal with 1 in the pipe, 10 in the can, and 20 more in storage (magazine pouch on my belt)

Which reminds me of a joke we used to tell when I drove an armored car:

Police Officer: "Why did you shoot him 31 times?"
Armored Guard: "Cause I ran out of ammo."

Not much Progress to show here. I had to completely redo the fuselage, and I stiffened the nose with florists wire.

I've made extensive use of the contents of that bottle while working on this model.

I've also been working on the interior in Rhino.

All I need to do now is figure out how to export it so I don't have to retrace everything in Photoshop. Anybody got any suggestions?

Looks like you've got a lot of work there building an interior.

I'd have been tempted to print the whole fuselage on OHP sheets to see how that came out.

Rough (very!) beta build of the interior. I'm using toothpicks for the cyclic and control sticks.

Here it is doing it's job as the interior of a helicopter

All I gotta do now is add details and colors. Onwards and upwards. Just keep your head down when the rotors are going.
