Finally got the interior finished:D:D

Photo realistic control console (cellphone cam couldn't get that close:o. Trust me, it's there though)

Installed inside

FInally I can close up the fuselage and progress!!

Somebody mentioned that my skills tend more towards designing than building. I think a reprint is called for, once I get a printer that'll print on cardstock again.

Hey, Murph,

Try cleaning the feed rollers in your printer.

Wow, now you just need to paint it dark blue and have Micky Rooney in the pilot's seat with a green hat. It looks great. May the printing Gods smile on you for a new printer.

I did. I've got a 5 year old konica minolta color laser I've been using. I think I'm gonna use this as an excuse to finally spring for an inkjet, so I can stop worrying about the flaking issues.

That is a great interior, for a model that cries out for one. Look forward to minifying it for he Micromodel S51 :-))

I just got an idea for a diorama.

I just saw an old movie called "The Final Countdown" about a modern aircraft carrier that is sent back in time to 1941, just off Hawaii...yep, with just enough time to prevent the Pearl Harbor attack.

I thought it'd be cool to do a diorama of an F-14 lining up on a Zero to close in for the kill. Now I get to play with scaling issues. (Gonna blow up the F-14, and see if making it huge makes it easier to build.)

I saw that movie a couple of years ago on t.v. That should be a neat diorama!
