Smile FGMM Hawker Hunter FGA Mk 4 in 1/100 scale

Well my friends!

I returning after Heinkel He -178 with another great model from FG and Rob Carleen, the beautiful Hawker Hunter, one of (in my opinion) beautiful jet fighters of 50's.

The model is a standard FG build difficult is easy to mediun, and buy this model is a real bargain, many versions and two sizes for only US$ 3,00 (the DGA Hunter is a same kit, only single model is 2,50 at Ecardmodels), and FG versions is none present in DGA catalog, so I believe is a inprecedible for collector and fan of this aircraft buy this FG model and complement with DGA versions .

The fuse is formed with cylinders and cone, the build is completed forming ten sections, after the wing an tail in glue in position, the main careful is form the air intake and glue in correct position...

My Hunter represent a FGA Mk 4 version in RAF colors in Suez Crisis in 1956 the black yellow stripes identify the planes in aliance of France, Israel and UK...

A comparation with DGA's Indian FGA Mk 56 Hunter in same scale...

See you next time...

Regards my friends!!!

I agree with Jim on all counts. The Suez crisis is a most interesting event from the perspective of aviation history. Among the combatants, there was an amazing collection of aircraft involved, including a lot of World War II airplanes used by the Egyptians and Israelies, as well as transitional aircraft (Wyvern, Gannet), and some of the latest jet age aircraft, like your beautiful Hunter.
