Great Lakes 1000 foot Bulk Carrier "Edgar B. Speer"
This is the very first 1000 footer I will be developing during today, the Edgar B. Speer.
Even though she will be quite big, the development will be considerably easier, thanks to her simple construction around a 'boxy' superstructure and a small, slide boom style self unloading gear similar to the Roger Blough (the very first Great Lakes ship I ever made, some years ago). Scale is always 1/350. [photo from respective author]

Progress on the Edgar B. Speer.
As expected, no major difficulties, despite the software 'crashed', though the work was never lost, thanks to that smart thing we know as "automatic save". Just three hours and the basic 3D modeling is done, which allows for enough time to move on into texturing process.

The Edgar B. Speer has been unfolded successfully.
Now on to the parts distribution and minor detailing, and I think tomorrow I can start printing.
