I-400 Submarine Pay Paper model/Japanese pay and free ship models
I remember seeing a post that there was interest in an 1-400 submarine.
I was cruising the strange world of japanese paper modeling and stumbled on this> This site has links to several simple free models and to some nice looking downloadable pay models including the I 400. The usual warning for a Japanese site stands, one wrong click and you have navigated away from the paper model site and you will find your self at an entirely different genre that is NSFW. Strange way to offer card models...
They are very attractive, but to pay almost $24 for a 1/400 scale I-400 or $40 for a 1/400 scale battleship is a little too much for me

I just downloaded the I-400 from Papercraft Etsutan, the price was 1,856JY or about
$16.61. Relatively pricy for a 1/400 paper ship, but the only other model I could find of the I-400 was at Alice Papermodel, and we don't buy from pirates, do we? John Wagonseil's advise about being careful on Japanese sites is very good advice (Very hard to navigate without translation) Another problem I discovered with this model; if you don't install the Adobi Asian Font Package, you'll be looking at blank sheets in your PDF. Nice looking model though! Bob
