The only thing I got was some pop-ups...with Firefox...which is wierd because I have NoScript and AdBlock installed and it should have stopped the pop-ups. Clicked out of them and was able to download and open as intended.

Hi Dave I have downloaded the calender without problems and the calendar looks great, Nice work and thanks!

And I might know what causes the problem..

I had the screen showing three adverts (because of not being a member ?)
It does not show the same three adverts each time the page is opened (I opened the page on two different computers, the 2nd time it did not appear, so I refreshed, and there it popped up again) but one of them just said... click here to download...;

Because it didnīt mention what it will download this might have caused the problem

Jerry

If you guys are running Firefox, make sure you also have the Popup blocker active.

To do this, go to the top of the Browser and click "Tools"
Then click "Options"
In the new window, click the "Content" tab
and make sure the first option "Block Popup Windows" is checked.

I have logged out of my Megaupload account, cleared my history
and then loaded the download page.
I get the timer, but I don't see any Ads...I assume because of my popup blocker.

I checked the download on another computer. There are a couple of download links that will download something else. If you do not wait for the countdown timer to finish to get the link to the calendar and click one of those other download links you will get something you do not want. One is what Jerry V pointed out and links to something from ad.z5x.net/. The other has a big green button that says Download Here that links to ad.xtenmedia.com/ and is accompanied by a big green button that says Play Now. I have no idea what happens when you click on either of those, but am sure they lead to something you do not want.

People need to wait for the countdown timer to zero out so the download link to the calendar shows up.

This is the initial screen to start the download after the timer zeroes out. Click the Regular Download button.:

This is after the timer zeroes out and the link for the calendar download becomes available after you click the Regular Download button:

ah very good explanation Doug...thank you

something I don't see, possibly because of the pop up blocker?
I don't know.

but yes, good advice...always pay attention to where you click and what you click.

these unscrupulous advertisers resort to any method to get you to click their ads,
even masking their Ads to look like "download" buttons!

Beautiful job Dave!
I love just love it.
It downloaded smoothly without a hitch.

Now I just have to print it out on the color laser, punch it, bind it and hang it in my cube. Then I can stare at it ALL day and wish I were home building something.

Thanks Kevin...can I ask a favor of you and everyone?

It would be very interesting, and possibly informative to see how everyone assembles and uses the Calendar.
Feel free to post a pic of the calendar on your wall
or explain the method of printing and binding you chose
(to possibly help others who aren't sure how or what method to use for their own Calendar)
?

I had my pages printed at Staples, on a semi-gloss 11x17 paper.
I did not get them bound, since I wasn't sure this was the final version.
It cost me about $20...thats included a $3 service charge for 20 minute service (and the surcharge for the paper I chose)

Mine were of course a test print to check colours, etc...
And mine were printed before the Calendar block was resized,
so the blocks and lower images/text are a little smaller than the final.

But I just used a regular hole punch to make a clean hole at the top center and the Calendar is hanging on the Wall!.
Had I been sure of the Calendar as final version, it would have been nice to get the spiral binding at the top.
