Yes Don, those teeth were a bit of a challenge. I recommend patience and doing plenty of test fitting. I’m also glad you are enjoying the models. I plan to send the next B-24, “Booby Trap/Miss Jolly Roger” to Ecardmodels sometime this week. While doing research for this B-24 I discovered that it has a name and nose art on both sides of the nose. So for you pin-up nose art fans this will be a bonus. I tried to emulate the different artistic styles for both pieces of art. I was planning to give the B-24s a break and get back into the B-17s when I came across the attached photo. This is a mighty tempting paint scheme plus the weathering would be a fun challange. It is a F7A photo recon version of the B-24. If there is interest I’d do it as a side project while I’m working on B-17s.

Sorry, I didn't mean for that type to be so big.

Consider one copy of the F-7A pre-sold, John. That looks like a mighty challenging color scheme but you are the man to do it!

The F7A looks like a great project. I will certainly want to have one, even if I do not have a collection as I am sure YB does.

The latest B-24, “Booby Trap/Miss Jolly Roger” is now available.

I’ll start working on the F7A alongside the B-17s. I’d like to find out more about the paint scheme. I have learned that the F7As in the Pacific used the same “Synthetic Haze” paint colors used on recon P-38s. I’m wondering though if those spots are intended as camouflage or just the artistic whims of those who painted it. I fortunately have several decent photos including one the nose art. This F7A was named “Nosie Rosie” and the pin-up appears to be based on a Vargas painting.

Zathros, the font size settings sometimes don't corporate on my computer. I don’t want people to think I’m shouting.

I'm glad to have a 90th Bomb Group B-24 and hope to build this one within the next year to hang over my desk at the Army War College office.
