Congratulations AirDave
Your Elco 80 ft 103 class PT is a fine model indeed, and looks magnificent.
I have thoroughly enjoyed watching the model achieve existence.

Kind and Respectful Regards AirDave, Uyraell.

Dave, would you be so kind as to add the PT-109 markings as well? I've seen some photos of the various models including the added 37 mm gun and now I have this crazy idea to build the JFK's boat.

Dave
Great looking PT I built the Dumas 109 pob wooden boat and I must say your model is excellent. Will look forward to building that baby.

a whole day today, hiding inside, away from the stifling heat and humidity...
gonna be over 95F again tomorrow I think...

working on the Instruction pages for the PT Boat.
Should be 9 (maybe 10) pages of actual assembly diagrams.
Plus a Cover Page and Info Page.

I've got two more pages to finish, so should be done tomorrow!
yay!

Thanks for all the kind words.

Very impressive, Dave. I look forward to obtaining a copy. I have no idea where I'll put the finished product, but the build looks enjoyable.

This will be a first for me. First model I've bought in a long time (I'm usually busy designing my own), first ship/boat model I've ever bought (I have problems with ship models, usually involving teensy tiny parts), and first time I've actually drooled over a model. I've always wanted my own PT boat.

Murph
In another thread you asked about a "beginner's boat" in reference to building a "flying boat".
Why not build the PT Boat and then chuck it off someone's roof?

Make sure you take video.

.....

oh...by the way...

PT Boat model went to the store today!
