Must be the heat.
Dare I ask, any plans for any other kinds of PT boats (seems there was a smaller boat, dang my poor memory - not ELCO, but what?) Although I believe I've said so already, but again thank you Dave for a 1:48 scale PT Boat!

There was 3 types of PT boats used by the US in WWII....2 were by Elco, the 77 footer, than they converted to building the 80 Footer. The other was the 78 foot Higgins. Some consider the Higgins a better sea boat. The only other PT to see WWII service was Elcos original 70 footer, but it only saw service with the British.
