1/33 F-51D Mustang SAAF Flying Cheetahs - Korea

I'm so glad someone requested this...
this one was a lot of fun to do.
I really enjoyed learning about the Flying Cheetahs squadron
of the South African Air Force.
(The second oldest Air Force in the World!)

I settled on this particular aircraft because I liked the blue nose
and I had the information on this particular plane
and I found a nice colour photo of it (which is on the cover).
It just appealed to me, I can't really say why.
