Looking at those diagrams I'm almost tempted to say that if you pour gas into the tank, this model will actually fly

This is one beautiful model!

This does look like a nice kit.

I do have question for the -109 experts around the net.

This is listed as the T-1 version, however it appears to have the longer wings which I thought first came out on the T-2 version along with the folding wings. Did the T-1 also have the longer wings?

Regarding the folding wings on the T-2, did the wings fold mid-wing where there was a split in the trailing edge flap system, or did they fold up and rotate near the root like in the Ju-87C?

I have not found any information on the -109 foldings wings outside of references that they did fold.

Thanks...and this kit looks to be a killer 8v)

All three models: T-0 prototype, T-1 carrier equipped and T-2 had longer wings.
I think that the only models with folding wings were the T-0 and T-1 version.
I saw a note that all carrier specific equipment was removed from all planes of T-2 version and also T-1s were "upgraded" later to have it removed.
Don't know anything about how the wings supposed to fold...
