WOW Thanks guys!!

Big thanks to all those who have purchased a Disc Special so far.
It's helped alot.
I haven't had much luck so far finding a replacement body for my Olympus system.
So, I am looking at new Nikon packages.

I am literally THREE sales away from ordering a camera I like!
I actually have a camera package picked out...
from an upstate NY retailer
...a bit cheaper than what I can get in Canada, and the exchange rate is in my favour.
As a Canadian resident, it pays to buy online right now, and use the American exchange.

So, please consider picking up some models and taking advantage of this special pricing.
If you just want one kit, don't forget that ecardmodels has my complete library.

And as I have said before...for those of you that can't afford it right now,
but you would still like to build something...don't be embarassed to ask for a freebie.
Sure, theres plenty of free stuff on the web.
But maybe you had your heart set on one of my models?
Just send me an email, say hello and let me know which model you would like to try.

How does the PayPal invoice work? Can you take a direct credit card purchase?

Dave if it were up to me and I wasn't on such a tight fixed income I would buy most if not all of your models. If only I had enough time to build them all. Love your work, always have. No idea how you and the other modelers build these incredible beautiful creations of paper models. I have gone over step by step if presented and yet I still stumble with building them. Best hobby there is and best people around. Thanks Dave. wc

whulsey, you can use a credit card when paying through paypal.
I am just unsure of the actual process since I have never done it myself.
(I've always had a paypal account)
When I invoice you, I use your email address...thats what paypal does when you sign up for an account.
So you will get an invoice from me via paypal detailing the purchase and how much to pay.
Once you pay, I get a notice telling me you paid.
You can make credit card or bank debit payments (at paypal) by filling in the standard payment form.
Just the same as if you used a credit card at any online store.

Just look for "don't have paypal account...use credit card or bank debit..." when you agree to pay for the invoice.

......
WC No need to explain. I understand "not being rich"! lol
I'm just glad you enjoy the models.

......
herky...I know. One day I'll get around to finishing that RAF Herc.
I am trying to be honest about.
No BS excuses.
Its just not a priority thing and I get sidetracked real easy with new ideas.

...sgoti....NO...I appreciate the offer.
But if you don't get something for your money, then I don't want it.
At least not right now.
kudos!

Thanks Dave, I don't do much online. I did create a paypal account once to order from Europe and within 6 months had 3 bogus purchases charged to my card (actually just cleared up one a couple of weeks ago) and so much off the wall e-mails demanding payments, offering various 'services', etc. I cancelled it.
But your method sounds fairly safe and I've really wanted those Autocars. See if I can come up with enough to meet the requirements.

Its funny, because in 20 years I haven't had a single problem related to paypal and online bank accounts.
I even have my own personal Bank account linked to my Payapl acct. and I transfer money back and forth.
I don't think its worse than any other online banking.
But paypal has done a very good job of protecting themselves.
Don't forget, if you lose money, they lose money.
And paypal is a billion dollar a day company.

You just have to make sure not to sign into a fake online account or give out info to anyone.
Ignore all the phoney paypal emails though.
Everyone gets a ton of those.
Never click links in the emails.
Always just open your browser, go to your normal bookmarked location and sign in that way.
Emails asking you to "update your account information" are always fake.
The paypal site you end up signing into, is a fake site and now they have your sign in credentials.

No I never signed into any site, it was used 1 time only to make an order to GPM. That was due to some of the bank and TSA changes a couple of years ago I could no longer use my credit card directly. And was the only time that credit card was used also. I do ignore those weird emails, I just notice them occasionally when I go to empty my junk folder.
