Good info. I appreciate your thoroughness and conscientious approach (not to mention your lucidity). I am in the process of ordering this one and hope to build it after I get the Maryland Air National Guard Texan built.

You may notice that I forgot to apply the correct paint and weathering to the Wing fairings (root).
Sorry about that Shane.
If you want the updated kit, let me know.
Not sure if you can swap out the parts at this point.

I have replaced the model at the store.

Shane?...the hoop you created at the cockpit divider (behind the Pilots seat) is a bit tall.
It has raised the center fuselage strip up a bit too much.

That divider is supposed to be the correct height.
The top of that plate is designed to be the support for the fuselage/canopy.
Its possible to install the cockpit tub a little low, and there would be a small gap,
but not that much.
Is it possible at this point for you to lower your framework hoop,
and bring it down closer to the top of the cockpit divider?

are you referring to the rear former hoop or the "roll bar" over the divider?

if its the latter its solidly mounted and was a slight goof on my part. since the rear window part was removed it war causing problems with the shape and the metal part is to help stiffen and support it. the paper strip is just s decoration its actually just there to hide the piece of wire used to shape the parts.
