A great looking Turbo Beaver Jim. Your background is a great choice too.

Having once lived in St. Paul for 20 years, I know lakes are hard to come by for photos….

I’ve built a couple of DGA’s Turbo Beavers and boy howdy, they are GREAT kits. They are well-designed and engineered. They are not complex builds, but the updated instructions will make them even easier to put together.

I take pride in this model, and I really value the efforts of those that helped me. Thank you Gary for your work on improving the graphics - it has a realism that I could not achieve. Thank you David for giving me the original inspiration to create the Turbo Beaver, and for test building a couple of different versions.

David, the picture was taken at a small public beach at the south east end of White Bear Lake.

The next Design Group Alpha Turbo Beaver which will be released is C-FDJH as she looked when flying from Whitehorse, Yukon.

As a matter of fact, the photos were taken while standing on a local lake with a sub-zero Fahrenheit temperature. The blue cast to the sky is because of the low sun angle during winter.
