Here's a 2-view of the original "Serenity." As you can see, Prof. Garcia's model scales out pretty well.

Thanks for the clarification on which is which. I think I have them both now, so when and if I ever get around to it I guess I can pick and choose which I like. Never really saw the TV show, but did see the movie which I really enjoyed.

I tried the links to find the ATPT legs and to try and get the instructions, but I can't find them on the sites you posted. I don't know if maybe the sites took them down or not, if you could give me any help with this it would be greatly appreciated.

Momir Farooq's homepage Click on "Models" (second button on the left) to open the "Card Board Models" page. Scroll down; the AT-PT is about 3/4 of the way down the page. --David

I am looking for the Serenety Firefly model with the instruction pages. I have a copy of the model (87 pieces) but am missing part of the the instructions. Mine only go up to page 5, which are only the engines and wings. Missing the whole front hals and the origional web site no longer exists. Can anyone help??? Jim [email protected]

Old thread, I know, but seemed apprapo here.
Currently building her with 65 lb stock, upsized to 13" x 19" (about 2 ft. in length). I'm having one helluva time putting together the gravity rotor (horseshoe/ fuentes 1 & 2). In specific, gluing parts 43, 44, 50 & 52 to parts 51 & 42 (the extenders that sweeep backwards) but not having them come out straight. Finding it quite difficult, next to impossible, to get this to come out correct. It ends up looking quite disfigured and simply wont work/fit with the rest of the engine portion. Any advise would be appreciated. TIA, -J |

Serenity Model
Check Sakrison's original post on this model. He had the same problem and ended up having to resize some of the spacer bars -- could be that's your issue.
By the way, looking good so far. I'm just starting mine, using 58 lb stock, but I may start over with an upsized version as you're doing. Wayno |

Yeah, I definately had some problems there too, never found a solution though. The backend of the horse shoe was all crooked and like turned to the side a little bit. I haven't gotten around to playin around with it yet, but I did start doubling the size of the peices to make a larger model, and I was thinkin about just carvin that whole peice out of wood and maybe make a little stand at the bottom with it too, paint it up real nice. I really want to display it with the the legs up and brite green light inside of it, and cut holes inbetween those little blocks that connect the the horse shoe, and in the rear thrusters, make a nice lamp out of it.
