This guy opperates in the UK aunder several names. I got stung for three models, all photocopies. No luck in getting a refund either. The name he used on eBay was Remispaper. When I rechecked the sale description there was nothing to say that it was originals for sale.
I know what I would like to do with him should we ever meet.

Hello!

Please remember everyone, there is ONLY 40 days for the RESOULUTON CASE on Ebay! So dodgy sellers can be playing with your time.

MBIG - God bless you to get that b...stard!!!

if this happened to me I'd be asking for a refund and trying to get the money back before sending, then I'd send him some 10 cent black and white photocopies of the crap he sent me so he couldn't turn around and re-sell them when he gets it back.

I *never* buy paper models from eBay. It's waaaaay too easy for pirates to get my money for something they never developed.

Always go for the original source if you can. If not, ask around here or at Zealot and see if someone has a copy or knows where to get one. EBay should always be the last resort, and then always ask for credentials and verify that they are a legitimate retailer.

Maybe we should add the names of some reputable ebay sellers to our reference pages. For instance the seller debica has been an excellent source for Maly models for years. Just my 2 cents.

That's a REALLY good idea, maybe even an area where they can be persuaded to show their wares. It could be a win-win situation!
