Brewster "Buffalo" Mk.I by Kartonowa Kollekcja

Hi friends,

I like to introduce my new purchase, a very promising kit from Poland.
It has got a glossy cover and 11 pages with 340 parts.
4 Pages of coloured parts, one page with formers to glue onm cardboard, also there are lots of ilustrations and photos from a ready built model.
Itīs from 2007. The instruction could be a little more detailed, but there are some nice historic photos and reports inside ...though they are in polish :D
Me as a german canīt read them, what a pity !
The cardboard looks and feels good and is exactly to cut.
The model has a good grad of details, but has no weathering....but thatīs ok, can be added afterwards.
here is a link to the manufacturer of the kit:
BananAlbum
Iīm very glad found this kit, becuase I love those brawny kits, like Brewster, Lavochkin etc.
Pictures of the kit sheets will follow, my digicam is broken and substitute is not here before weekend.
Greetings
Stephan

Thanks for the review, Stephan. The model looks good at the manufacturer's site and I look forward to seeing your build.

I also have this kit and am really looking forward to building it...someday. I have a soft spot for the Buffalo -- maybe I'll build this kit and the Halinski B-239 side-by-side.

There are some nice extras with this kit. It can be built with or without the detailed cockpit interior, and it includes instrument panel overlays, optional separate control surfaces, and parts to show deployed flaps. There is also a very reasonably priced set of laser-cut formers from Draf. Looks like you get a lot for the money.

From what you posted the diagrams and especially the pictures of the completed model look to be near the top standard for what you can get in instructions from the Polish camp these days. I bet if you had an English translation of the writing you'd cover pretty much any questions on assembly.
