P-47 Thunderbolt Tuskegee Airmen by Dave's Card Creations
My second 1/33 scale aircraft model is complete. It is the Republic P-47 Thunderbolt Tuskegee Airmen Paper Model by Dave's Card Creations. I think the color scheme of this model, olive drab over gray, is very attractive and well executed. The bright red tail seems a little out of place, but it is the signature of a Tuskegee Airmen's airplane.
Dave considers his P-47 models to be intermediate level, and I agree. Most of the build is straight forward, but there are a few challenges. Being a novice, I greatly appreciated the after market support Dave provides for his models. Dave has build threads and provides personal coaching (while you are working on a model.) on his forum ( www.papermodelforum.com - Index ). This makes building a model very enjoyable, especially since instructions are in english. I have some very nice paper models sitting in a draw because the instructions are in a language I can't read. My build thread for this model is here: Login Here are a couple pictures of the finished model: |
