ORLIK "Asaldo A.1 Balilla" in 1:33
The model represents a A1 Balilla... Serial #102, of Fighter Squadron 7
3 1/2 pages of parts... 5 pages of diagrams.. English instructions available on the web site.. Also have the laser frames. Beautiful graphics, and IMO the colors are what I would think they should be.. Again, I think the designer is Stanislaw Sliwinski.. |

A very famous airplane. I hope this is the beginning of a build thread. I'd love to see this one take shape.

At some point I hope it's a build thread.... Has always been one of my favorite aircraft, because of the unusual shape of the rear fuselage.. |

Mine, too, Peter. And, although I really like the colorful markings of your Polish aircraft, I have always had a fondness for the Italian 87a ('La Serenissima") Squadriglia markings with Venice's Lion of St. Mark banner streaming along the fuselage side. Chip Fyn offers a rather nice simple small-scale version in his Fiddlers Green series (http://www.fiddlersgreen.net/AC/airc...do-SVA/SVA.php).

Thanks for this- I've been debating between this kit and the WAK Publisher kit of the same a/c type, also in Kosciuso Squadron markings. This review helps with the decision!
