Nah, it was just the coincidence. I'm working on the rearrangement of parts right now. And while checking Kartonbau.de, by chance I came across a posting by Rick mentioning the new site. Very good news!

Wonderful

Hi Leif,

Glad to see you make your debut here. I've been wondering what you've been up to. Great to have you back at a site that has all facets engaged for the purpose of card modeling. It has that comfortable feel to it already...,

Best regards,

-Gil

We meet again...

And it's very good to see you too, Gil! Likewise, I've been wondering what you were busy with (besides building your avatar, which is exquisite).

The Spitfire has been on hold since I got it immediately on publication a couple of years back. And I guess it'll have to stay there yet awhile. I still have Jan Müller's Comet to finish.

It is slow and painful work coming back to what you should be doing, instead of all the diversions popping up all the time.

But it is good to meet again, like you said. And preparing new print sheets is very therapeutical.

Leif

Great, Johnny!!

I always enjoy your build reports, and I'm looking forward for this one, as it is in my TO-DO list.

Thanks

Johnny -- Thanks for posting the info.

Dan -- I'm delighted to hear about your next build, as I have a strong preference for British, as well as Japanese and U.S. aircraft.

Leif -- You have given me a strong incentive to buy the kit so as to be able to get a copy of your 1/87th version (I generally prefer smaller, rather than larger, at least down to about 1/100 -- I have never built anything smaller successfully).

Don

Thanks again for sharing those links, did you see the one I partially completed under aviation builds? I found that from your prior link Billy! I didn't make the mount and firewall parts as was thinking of displaying the engine next to the spit.

Yea, I'd love to see that Merlin engine fitted onto this Halinski Spitfire too!
