The model is coming along quite nicely. Regarding my grandfather's friend...the tickets were for steerage, so no, he did not survive. When one thinks about one's family history, one comes to realize Einstein was wrong....God does indeed play dice with the universe.

Hello!
Thank you Friends!
Darwin: I thought that friend of your grandfather not survived...
R.I.P

Time for a little update. It's time to do little things: stairs, ventilators, bollards etc. Seemingly not much to do but a little monotonous.
The third sheet of instructions ready, and the next I'm doing now.
For advanced modelers will be an additional sheet with details like doors, more detailed stairs, etc. Numbering of additional pieces are the same as the parts, which are to be glued, just add the letter A (Advanced) and orange colour, for example A23.

Best regards.

Hello!
Ivernia is ready to test gluing. She has 70 numbered parts on 7 sheets with parts and 5 sheets with instruction.
Model will be tested by Pulpetto.

Best regards.

Really quite nice...I wish you would design more merchant ships!

Will there be a build thread on the beta build, or will we be treated to photos in this thread?

Will this be available for purchase, perhaps on eCardmodels?

Questions, questions....

Cheers!
Jim

It will certainly be a challenging model, but one that very accurately depicts the ship. To my eye, the early 20th century ships are unsurpassed in attractive appearance.

Absolutely fantastic! Very cool subject and great design work, as always. Can't wait to see her built up.

Between the two of us it looks like Christmas will be coming early for ocean liner fans...

If you are interested in doing the famous Carpathia, Ivernia's half sister, the Titanic Historical Society has deck plans for $20, not a bad price all things considered.

The Cunard Royal Mail Steamship CARPATHIA [1777] - $20.00 : Titanic Historical Society, Museum Store
